Following established written procedures and guidelines, provides technical and analytical support in a Derivatives or GCIB support operations function e.g. , clearance and settlement, trade processing or specialty Derivatives area for 1 or more Derivatives product areas. Using established techniques, analyzes and resolves complex Derivatives operations problems and initiatives requiring exceptional handling and or coordination of multiple operational and or product specialists to resolve. May assist in managing projects and or introduction of new initiatives, systems, products and services and processes coordinating necessary expertise across multiple operations functions and or products. As a seasoned analyst, may provide work direction and technical guidance to less experienced associates in resolving complex transactions and operational problems. Requires up to 1-3 years experience in the Derivatives ops function with thorough working knowledge of operational aspects for derivative transactions and products.
Additional Information:
Strong leader to join the Global Foreign Exchange Back Office Management Team. Responsibilities will include planning, organizing, developing, and overseeing operations within the department. Communicate and collaborate regulary with peers globally. Provide expedient resolutions to client escalations. Associate must be able to identify and manage risk.
Translates strategies into specific goals, tactics, action plans and deliverables.
Early hours may be required. Must be willing to work overtime as necessary.
Required Skills:
• BA Degree in Business, Banking or Finance
• 3+ years Management experience in a high risk and fast paced environment.
